My intuition tells me that complaints about Palanga may be unfounded.
Also, on the Booking platform, my attention was caught by accommodation with a terrace. It was wonderful, with a view of pine trees, and the sea was visible in the distance. A huge 3-story house was in a wealthy neighborhood on a hill, in a pine forest. The owner – a German architect – designed the house for himself and several apartments on the second floor for rent. Huge villas stood around.
Since the area was away from the center, a car was needed. It was fun to spend evenings and mornings on the terrace. It seemed that in the whole neighborhood, only we and the dog in the neighboring villa were alive. Apparently, it was too hot for the locals and they didn’t stick their noses outside.
I’m not saying it wasn’t hot for us, but when you pay a lot for such a terrace, you sit and listen to the cicadas. In the evening, mosquitoes appear – ninjas that fly silently and you don’t feel when they bite. Only the next morning do you see red bumps, as if after a bee sting. Such an added value to the terrace. What can you do, we accepted it.

Throughout the vacation, every evening only a dog walker with a pack of dogs passed by the villa, which proved that the neighborhood was inhabited, because it was a bit scary otherwise.
By the way, pay attention to the photo showing how pine trees are protected in this neighborhood, even those that are heavily leaning. It’s better to make a gap for the tree in the fence than to cut it down. And there are more than one such examples here.
This time I will tell you about Malaga’s beaches. From now on, I will also evaluate beaches according to the needs scale of one designer: whether there are changing facilities, showers, toilets, and benches. My intuition tells me that complaints about Palanga may be unfounded.
