It is proposed to increase financial support for the birth of one child and to set payments when multiple children are born at the same time.
For the birth of one child, the family will receive a payment equal to five state-supported income (SSI) amounts – this year 1165 euros, for twins – a payment of 20 SSI amounts (4660 euros), and for triplets or more – a payment of 30 SSI amounts (6990 euros).
The SSI amount approved for 2026 is 233 euros. If it changes in 2027, the payments will also increase.

As indicated by the municipality to BNS, 125 newborns were born in Druskininkai in 2024, and last year – 112.
Both the year before last and last year, one pair of twins was born in Druskininkai. The last triplets were born in the municipality in 2017.
