All the basketball players who played on the team last season remained loyal to the same numbers: Nigel Williams-Goss will continue to wear number 1, Dovydas Giedraitis – number 9, Ąžuolas Tubelis – number 10, Maodo Lo – number 12, Dustin Sleva – number 14, Arnas Butkevičius – number 51, Deividas Sirvydis – number 91, and the team captain Edgaras Ulanovas will have the number 92 on his jersey.

During this off-season, the seven newcomers who joined Žalgiris have also already chosen their numbers. Sterling Brown returns to number 0, which he wore while playing in the NBA and for Berlin ALBA.
Meanwhile, Kaodirichi Akobundu-Ehiogu chose jersey number 2, which he also had in his last NCAA years when he played for the Memphis Tigers.
Carsen Edwards chose the number 3 jersey, which he has been accustomed to for three seasons, while Saben Lee will wear the number 7 jersey, which he has never worn before in his career.
Jonas Valančiūnas chose the usual number 17 for a tall player, Marius Grigonis will wear the already familiar number 40 Žalgiris jersey, and Marek Blaževičius will wear the number 22 jersey he wore in recent seasons.

Žalgiris also completed the coaching staff lineup. The team will be led for the second consecutive season by head coach Tomas Masiulis, assisted by assistant coaches Mantas Šernius, Renaldas Seibutis, and Andrius Ulčickas with Johs Andersen. The latter two specialists will serve as assistant coaches and video coordinators. For the second consecutive season, Žygimantas Janavičius will serve as the individual training coach.
Physical training coaches Justinas Grainys, Nerijus Navickas, and Arnas Ikamas, doctors Vytautas Kailius and Andrius Aukštakalnis, and masseur Romas Petraitis will continue their work at Žalgiris.
Next week, Žalgiris basketball players will start preparing for the upcoming season behind closed doors at the Žalgiris Arena, playing three preseason matches. On August 29 at 18:00, the green and whites will challenge the Riga Zelli team, on September 2 at 18:00 – the Utena Juventus team, and on September 6 at 18:00 – the Baku Sabah club.
Meanwhile, Žalgiris will conclude their preseason game cycle by participating in the London Lions Invitational tournament organized by the London Lions club, which will take place on September 10–11 in London.
