“Statistics are ruthless, in 86 cases we pulled people out of crushed vehicles and provided them with assistance. Unfortunately, when it comes to traffic accidents, the statistical data for this summer is particularly saddening. Sadly, this summer we had to pull out 15 deceased individuals, which is three times more than last summer,” he told journalists on Thursday at the Firefighters’ Rescue School in Valčiūnai.
