The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine stated that O. Stefanišyna “was informed of suspicions of illegal enrichment and providing false information in the declaration.”

The court added that she was released on a bail of 6 million hryvnias (about 116 thousand euros).
Responding to the accusations, O. Stefanišyna said: “I look at these events calmly and without unnecessary emotions, and the noise around this story more resembles a storm in a teacup.”
She shared a photo of herself, apparently taken in court.
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine stated that she is suspected of illegal enrichment amounting to more than 13.9 million hryvnias (about 269 thousand euros).
She is accused of having undeclared property – apartments and other real estate, which, according to investigators, cannot be explained by her official income.
O. Stefanišyna said she has already “commented quite extensively” on media reports, “including those related to property.”
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Monday dismissed her from her ambassadorial post in Washington.
He has not yet officially appointed a new candidate for this very important position. Ukraine relies on U.S. arms supplies and intelligence sharing as the large-scale war caused by Russia continues into its fifth year.
Last week, V. Zelensky announced that he had proposed former Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko for this position but added that discussions are still ongoing.
