According to the event organizers, one of the brightest highlights of the event will be the legendary Lithuanian pilot Jurgis Kairys.
“His name in the aviation world has long been a symbol of professionalism and courage, so the organizers are confident that the participation of the famous aviator will attract crowds of spectators,” the Tauragė aerodrome statement says.
The “Aerobatic Team ANBO” will perform an aerobatic aviation program, and the “Baltic Amber Team” pilots will demonstrate precisely coordinated flights and impressive maneuvers in the air.
Visitors will also be able to see a parade of vintage aircraft. The aircraft will allow experiencing the authentic spirit of aviation and will remind of the country’s aviation history.

The event will also feature a paragliding show with pyrotechnic elements. For the first time in Lithuania, it will be presented by the “Flying Dragons Team.”
According to the organizers, such events in the regions become an important means to popularize aviation.
