As reported by the Register Center on Monday, the database running the institution’s supervised systems, including the Real Estate Register subsystems “Geomatininkas” and “Matininkas,” the Special Land Use Conditions tool, the regional geoinformation environment “Regia,” cadastral maps, the State Forest Cadastre, the Address Register, and the e-auction and e-bidding portal, will be transferred to the “Exadata” platform created by the international technology company “Oracle”.

The database transfer work is planned to start on Wednesday at 10 PM and should last until Thursday at 1 AM. During this period, the mentioned systems and the electronic services provided based on them will not be operational.
In mid-June, the Register Center had already transferred its largest database, which stores data from the Population, Real Estate, and Legal Entities registers, to the “Exadata” platform.
BNS wrote that the General Prosecutor’s Office announced in May that it is investigating possible illegal logins and the misappropriation of more than 600,000 Real Estate Register entries, including people’s personal identification numbers, from the Register Center.
According to law enforcement, the logins were carried out through accounts of Migration Department employees stolen from abroad.
