During V. Putin’s visit to Kazakhstan, at a press conference he was quoted the words of Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys, who, as “Interfax” writes, said that NATO Baltic states have enough forces to destroy the anti-aircraft defense bases in the Kaliningrad region.

“As you said, they have the means to level the Russian bases to the ground. The Russian Federation has all the means to level to the ground those who try to do so,” V. Putin replied.
As BNS wrote, K. Budrys said in an interview published last week in the magazine “Neue Zürcher Zeitung” that NATO has all the means to destroy the air defense capabilities in the Russian exclave.

“We must show the Russians that we are capable of breaking through their small fortress that they have set up in Kaliningrad. If necessary, NATO has all the means to level the Russian air defense and missile bases there to the ground,” the minister told journalists.
