The Pennsylvania state club introduced L.James on social media by posting a photo with his jersey and a shelf with a golden crown placed on it.
Another post with LeBron’s image reads: “a city fit for a king”.
It seems that even the 76ers organization itself cannot believe the somewhat unexpected choice of L.James.

“There is no doubt that LeBron is one of the best players ever to play basketball and there are no words to describe the impact he will have on this organization,” said Mike Gansey, who took over as the 76ers basketball operations director just a couple of months ago.
The 76ers also announced that L.James will wear the number 23 jersey on their team. The King played with this number for most of his career, except for four years in Miami and two and a half years in Los Angeles, when he chose number 6.
However, a few years ago, number 6 was retired league-wide in honor of the legendary Bill Russell, who wore it, after the 88-year-old Boston Celtics legend passed away, so even if he wanted to, LeBron could not choose number 6 in Philadelphia.
