“After an attack at one of the company’s logistics centers in the Vladimir region, a fire broke out,” the “Wildberries” statement said. It added that warehouse workers were evacuated.

The regional governor Alexander Avdeyev said that the attack was carried out by drones.
“There is damage, a fire broke out,” he posted on the Russian messaging app “Max” and added that “a young man was injured.”
Since mid-July, Ukraine has struck about 20 facilities owned by “Wildberries” in various parts of Russia and annexed Crimea.
During the first attacks on the night of July 18 in the Moscow and Tambov regions, eight people were killed and nearly 90 were injured.
Later, Ukrainian drones struck facilities near Saint Petersburg, Simferopol in Crimea, Krasnodar, Volgograd, and on Sunday, in the Samara region.
“Wildberries” is a very popular online trading platform in Russia, often called “Russia’s Amazon.”
Attacks on its warehouses are part of Ukraine’s long-range strike campaign targeting civilian infrastructure in Russia, which has been conducting a large-scale offensive in Ukraine since February 2022.
Kyiv claims this is aimed at forcing the Kremlin to negotiate an end to the war in Ukraine.
Mutual strikes
On Sunday, according to officials from both sides, at least nine people were killed in Ukraine’s attacks in Russia, and at least five in Russian attacks in Ukraine.

Both Moscow and Kyiv are increasing the scale and intensity of attacks against each other. According to United Nations (UN) data, civilian casualties in Ukraine have sharply increased this year as Russia intensified the use of hard-to-intercept long-range missiles.
To pressure Moscow to negotiate an end to the offensive, Kyiv is conducting waves of retaliatory strikes in Russia, including attacks on energy facilities and retail warehouses.
On Sunday, four people were killed in Ukraine’s strikes in Russia’s Belgorod region bordering Ukraine, including a 13-year-old girl near a playground, announced the acting regional governor Alexander Shuvayev.
In a separate drone attack in Russia’s Saratov region bordering Kazakhstan, two people were killed, and three more died in a Ukrainian drone strike on a car in Russia’s Udmurtia region, located more than 1,000 kilometers from the front line, said acting regional governor Olga Abramova.
Meanwhile, in Ukraine, two people were killed in Russian strikes in the eastern Dnipropetrovsk region and at least one person in the southern Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, regional officials said.
Postal operator “Nova Poshta” reported that a postal terminal was destroyed and a postal worker was killed in a separate Russian strike in northern Kharkiv region.
US-led negotiations to end the bloodiest conflict in Europe since World War II have been effectively frozen since February, when the United States and Israel began joint strikes on Iran.
