Justinas Jarutis played golf with an NBA basketball player interested in Lithuania: “Very simple”

D’Angelo Russell is known not only to American NBA fans.

This 30-year-old basketball player is recognized as a talented guard, drafted second overall in the NBA rookie draft early in his career, and who played in the 2019 NBA All-Star game.

Previously scoring over 20 points per season for several NBA teams, the 191 cm tall guard also became famous in Lithuania when a year and a half ago 15min journalist Rokas Pakėnas reported that the player was interested in representing the Lithuanian national team.

D. Russell has been in a relationship for many years with Laura Ivaniukas, a Canadian of Lithuanian descent. The couple is not married but has two children – a boy, Riley Jon Russell, and a girl, Milos-Rose Russell.

The 27-year-old model and healthy lifestyle advocate grew up in a family of Lithuanian immigrants in Ontario, Canada, and is the reason why D. Russell and his family visit Lithuania.

D. Russell’s passion for golf led to acquaintance with well-known people in our country – music performer Justinas Jarutis and Lithuanian golf champion Paulius Baltramonaitis.

On Monday at the European Center Golf Club, they waved golf clubs together, introduced by a mutual acquaintance.

“D’Angelo Russell really wanted to play golf because he is a big fan of this
