The three-hour open-air event will invite spectators to go wild, listening to hits such as “Give Me Everything”, “Fireball”, “On the Floor”, “I Know You Want Me” and many others. Along with Pitbull, stadium guests will also see rapper Lil Jon on stage, well-known for “Get Low”, “Turn Down for What”, “Yeah!” and other songs.

The fact that Lithuanians eagerly awaited this superstar is also evidenced by the instantly sold-out tickets for the concert at Darius and Girėnas Stadium. Therefore, an additional limited number of tickets has been released for the July 31 event. Also, by popular demand, another show will be held at “Žalgiris” Arena on November 30.

This event is a continuation of world-renowned star concerts in Kaunas over the past few years. In 2025, four performances attracting hundreds of thousands of crowds were held in the city: Justin Timberlake, “Gun N’ Roses”, Robbie Williams, and Post Malone.

ISM and KTU economists estimate that even one large-scale concert can generate between 5 and 8 million euros for the city. According to “Kaunas IN” data, hotel occupancy reaches up to 98% on event days, and Airbnb supply jumps to 62%. The significantly increased number of guests is also reflected in transport demand – the number of “Bolt” rides increases by up to 12%, and scooters by 40%.

A study by the State Data Agency also shows that last year, most guests visited Kaunas in June–August – precisely when the four largest concerts of the year took place at Darius and Girėnas Stadium. Guests spent an average of 2 nights in the city.

Mantas Vedrickas, head of the “Žalgiris Group” events department, states that over 150,000 people participated in these concerts last year alone. A large part of them were guests from other cities as well as from abroad.

“Fans from other countries accounted for about 15%. They not only attended the events but also visited the city’s cafes, restaurants, bars, and used accommodation and ride-sharing services. It is estimated that foreign guests generated about 4 million euros for Kaunas. And event participants from other Lithuanian cities could have spent up to 10 million euros in Kaunas,” says M. Vedrickas.

During such concerts, the name of Kaunas resonates both in Lithuania and worldwide. A study conducted by “Žalgiris” and the brand strategy, research, and design agency “Synthesis Consulting Group” found that thanks to various “Žalgiris” events, Kaunas was mentioned in the media as many as 18,000 times in 2024, generating over 50 billion views. The value of such media attention is over 1.5 billion euros.

Furthermore, the performing music stars thank the city on their social media accounts with millions of followers, and news about tours is also published on foreign media portals such as “NME” and others. With renowned artists increasingly holding performances in Kaunas during their world tours, the city solidifies its position as a magnet for music fans in the region.
