V. Mačiulis, who ended up in the clinic, did not spare kind words for the medics and all the staff. He told the portal Žmonės.lt that he feels great care here.

“Wonderful medics, at the highest level, it’s not for nothing that not only people from other cities, but also some famous people from Vilnius come here for treatment.
And they care a lot here, not because I’m famous, but sincerely, they don’t even know me. In the intensive care unit, there are such partitions with curtains, so I hear how they ask all patients if they need this or that, they care a lot,” the well-known journalist shared with Žmonės.lt.
He said that he already feels better, so he would like to work, he even brought a computer here for that.
“Yes, I brought it, I can’t live without work, that’s my character, that’s why I was alive… But now I can only hold a phone, I can’t work on a computer yet,” said V. Mačiulis.
The famous journalist was glad that the procedure went smoothly and the problem was detected in time.
“Those who envy me, let them continue to envy, I will live another 10 years,” V. Mačiulis positively concluded the conversation with Žmonės.lt.

V. Mačiulis also spoke about his well-being on the social network “Facebook”. He shared a photo from the hospital and published a positive message.
Žmonės.lt reminds that V. Mačiulis ended up in intensive care after heart stenting. As the journalist revealed to the portal Žmonės.lt, three heart stents were urgently inserted.
Although his health condition was complicated, according to V. Mačiulis, he did not feel any strong symptoms, but recently he was constantly accompanied by weakness.
“I’m walking the dog, someone calls me, I talk and it’s like I’m short of breath, like something’s a little off. I live on the second floor, I started climbing to the second floor – no strength. And what scared me the most, which never happened before – I see that my legs are swollen.
I thought maybe I walked a lot, but it swelled badly, it started to constrict my calves. So I got a referral to the Cardiology Clinic. I arrived, the doctor looked at me and said: “Tomorrow you have to be in the cardiology hospital,” V. Mačiulis recalled to Žmonės.lt.
He should be discharged from the clinics on Monday, and then the journalist will undergo rehabilitation.
