On the main stage, we will also see one of the world’s most popular drum and bass duos, Sigma (UK), Tommy Cash (Estonia), and Lithuania will be represented at the festival by the band Biplan. The largest music festival in the Baltic countries, Summer Sound 2026, will take place on the beach of Liepaja from July 31 to August 1.

One of the most influential EDM creators in the world, Hardwell, has been recognized twice as the best DJ in the world and has dominated the biggest festivals on the planet for over a decade, including Tomorrowland and Ultra. The author of megahits “Apollo,” “Call Me A Spaceman,” and “Young Again” will visit Latvia for the first time, and will offer Summer Sound visitors a world-class electronic music experience right here in the neighborhood – on the beach of Liepaja.
Sigma (UK) is one of the leading drum and bass duos in the world, successfully combining the energy of club music with the melodic sound of pop music. Among their most popular hits are “Nobody To Love,” “Changing,” and “Find Me,” and their tracks feature vocals from global stars such as Rita Ora, Paloma Faith, Birdy, John Newman, and others.
Tommy Cash is one of the most prominent Estonian artists, who has conquered a wide international audience with his unique, provocative style and powerful energy. Inspired by his childhood in the districts of Tallinn, the rapper boldly turned Eastern European aesthetics into a global pop culture phenomenon. Last year, Tommy Cash represented Estonia at Eurovision with the hit “Espresso Macchiato,” which became one of the most listened-to songs of last year’s contest.
Lithuania will be represented at the festival by Biplan, currently intensively preparing for a grand 30th-anniversary concert and one of the longest continuously performing bands in our country.
It has already been announced that one of the world’s most popular electronic music producers and DJs, Alan Walker (Norway), will perform on the festival stage, as well as the energetic gypsy punk representatives Gogol Bordello (USA) and many other performers.

A host of other prominent names are joining the program – from indie and alternative music to hip-hop and rock. Over two days, international artists will perform on several Summer Sound stages: Digdeep (Ireland), Julián Mayorga (Spain), Mary Shelley (USA), and a large group of Latvian musicians: Kautkaili, Purple Negative, Les Attitudes Spectrales, and one of Latvia’s most popular DJs @TomsGrevins.
It was previously announced that the festival will feature popular Latvian acts Bermudu Divstūris, Singapūras Satīns, hip-hop creators ansis, Deniss, contemporary folklore group Tautumeitas, The Big Bad Hit Show, representatives of hip-hop and urban music: ELIOTS, Xantikwariāts, Rīmdari, PCK97, MUUD, and Arturs Skutelis. Rock and alternative music fans will be delighted by Fēliks Ķiģelis, Inokentijs Mārpls, Bēdu brāļi, Aparāts, and Zvīņas.
Summer Sound is one of the most anticipated summer events, attracting thousands of music lovers every year. For two days, the beach of Liepaja turns into an unforgettable party where music, sea, and summer merge into a special atmosphere felt only here. About 60 performers appear on several stages – from the most relevant talents of Latvia and the Baltic countries to international stars. As usual, families are also taken care of: children under 10 enter for free, and during the festival, there will be a children’s town and plenty of other entertainment.
Summer Sound is the largest music festival in the Baltic countries, held annually on the beach of Liepaja. In 2026, the festival will take place for the 14th time.
