The lowest annual inflation rates were recorded in Sweden (1 percent), the Czech Republic (1.1 percent), and Denmark (1.8 percent), while the highest annual inflation in June was in Romania (9.2 percent), Lithuania (5.4 percent), and Bulgaria (5.2 percent).

Compared to May, annual inflation decreased in twenty-two member states, remained stable in three, and increased in two.

Last month, services (+1.51 percentage points), energy (+0.77 percentage points), food, alcohol and tobacco (+0.29 percentage points), and non-energy industrial goods (+0.18 percentage points) had a positive impact on the annual inflation rate in the euro area.
