“We don’t sit around like old folks,” says Pranas with a smile, describing their daily life, which is full of trips, bowling, theater, concerts, and new activities.
The first challenge – karaoke. Paulius quickly realizes that singing is not his strong suit, but that is exactly what creates the most laughter.
“Pranas and I exchanged glances and both found it amusing nonsense,” recalls the host.
Later, a much bigger adrenaline rush awaits – the go-kart track. Virginija has never driven any vehicle in her life, so the first laps on the track become a real challenge not only for her but also for Paulius, who patiently follows behind, ready to help in any situation.
“It felt like I was driving like a little tractor behind – I wanted to be the rear guard so the person would feel safe,” the host says.

The biggest surprise of the day awaits at the end. Virginija decides on her first tattoo in life. After long considerations, she chooses a symbol to immortalize their love with Pranas, and Pranas himself, just like fifty years ago, does not miss the chance to joke.
“You said once that you love, so let them know,” he says with a smile when Paulius asks when he last confessed his love to his wife.
After all the day’s adventures, Paulius admits that this couple left a special impression on him.
“When people after fifty years together still want to surprise each other, try new things, and enjoy life, you realize that youth does not depend on age,” says the host.
