“Unfortunately, the deaths of three people (…) – two citizens of the People’s Republic of China and one Russian citizen – have been confirmed,” the AGCC statement said.
According to the company, 24 people were taken to the hospital due to “more or less serious injuries,” and another 122 people suffered “minor injuries” that did not require hospitalization.

“Search and rescue operations continue at the scene,” AGCC said, adding that “rescue services are trying to extinguish the main fire and are conducting controlled burning of industrial gas residues.”
The company stated that “the main complex facilities were not damaged” because “the fire broke out in the auxiliary technical area of the facility.”
