The ESPN portal writes that, according to their sources, E. Kanter Freedom and another former NBA player Royce White will not be allowed to participate in the WNBA draft.

E. Kanter Freedom sat right by the court wearing black shirts with the inscription: “WOMAN – an adult female person.”
At the end of the third quarter, after a timeout was announced, Natasha Cloud approached E. Kanter Freedom and started shouting at him. He stood with his arms outstretched and took a few steps toward the court, but security staff stopped him and escorted him out.
One person claimed that E. Kanter Freedom was making remarks to N. Cloud throughout the game, but another fan sitting nearby said he was just supporting the team during the game.
After an 11-year NBA career, E. Kanter Freedom has actively engaged in political discussions in recent years.
The WNBA collective bargaining agreement signed in March states that “only women can play in the WNBA.” However, a more detailed definition of a woman is not provided. As far as is known, no transgender woman has played in the WNBA so far.
During his career, E. Kanter Freedom played for the Utah Jazz, Oklahoma City Thunder, New York Knicks, Boston Celtics, Portland Trail Blazers.
