Three players scored points for the winners: G.Šulskė scored 8 points, G.Labuckienė, who made all seven one-point shots, added 7 points, and K.Nacickaitė – Van Der Horst added 6 points. J.Miknaitė did not score points but rebounded 6 balls.
This victory brought the Lithuanian national team not only a ticket to the round of 16, but also second place in Group D, as our team scored more points (66) than the French (60) and Canadian (57) basketball players who collected the same number of victories.
In the first three matches, the Lithuanians defeated Canada (19:17), but lost to France (12:21) and Ukraine (14:16).
A total of 20 teams are playing in the tournament, divided into four groups of five teams each.

Ukraine (3-1), which took first place in Group D, advanced directly to the quarterfinals, and along with the Lithuanian national team, France (2-2) also received a ticket to the round of 16. The tournament ended for Canada (2-2) and Japan (1-3).
Our team will play against the Czech Republic, which took third place in Group A, in the round of 16. This match will be played on Friday.
The Lithuanian women’s 3×3 national team is participating in the world championships for the third time, but has not yet won any World Championship medals. Its highest place, fourth, was achieved in 2022 in Antwerp.
