On August 22, in some parts of Lithuania, the wind blew up to 33 meters per second. Trees broke like matches, roads were blocked with branches, cars and buildings were damaged, power lines were cut off. Firefighters had to respond to more than 1,800 reports about the storm’s consequences that day. And suddenly a strange thing became clear.
