The theatrical concert “Bridgerton Party Magic,” which will take place at Pakruojis Manor, will feature well-known contemporary music pieces. Songs by Sting, Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Madonna, and other famous artists will be transformed into refined string orchestra interpretations.
“In this case, the strings will act as a bridge connecting Pakruojis Manor, the ‘Bridgerton’ world aesthetic, and contemporary music. When a live orchestra plays, every touch of the finger and bow is felt, the air vibrates with the strings. Pop music recordings always sound the same, but we create each piece here and now. Therefore, strings give a lot of life to pop music,” says Vytautas Lukočius, chief conductor of the VDU chamber orchestra.
For this occasion, V. Lukočius tried on a long-haired wig typical of aristocrats from the 18th–19th centuries. It will be one of the playful concert details, helping to connect the historical manor atmosphere with today’s music and the spirit of a surprise-filled party.
For just one evening, the park of Pakruojis Manor will turn into a flower-filled aristocratic party inspired by the traditions of 19th-century European manors and the globally popular “Bridgerton” atmosphere.
Guests of the evening will be welcomed with a formal reception, carriage rides, fire and light shows, dancing, and a visit to the “Cabinet de Secret” attic of the manor, which guards spicy high society secrets.

The theatrical concert by the VDU chamber orchestra conducted by V. Lukočius can also be heard by guests who do not participate in the main party. Visitors coming to the Summer Flower Festival held all season at Pakruojis Manor will be able to hear a surprise-filled string performance in the evening.
In recent years, concerts and parties inspired by “Bridgerton” have rapidly gained popularity worldwide – from Italy and the United Kingdom to the United States and India.
