Meeting with Defense Minister Yevhenii Khmara and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Mykhailo Drapat, V. Zelensky was quoted on Saturday by the Ukrainian portal “Ukrainska Pravda”.

“I also confirmed new long-range operations in response to Russian attacks. We are preparing to expand our long-range capabilities,” he said on the social network “X”.
V. Zelensky also stated that with the change in leadership, plans are being prepared to update management methods and the response system to challenges in the leadership of Ukraine’s medical forces.
“A key priority is to apply successful practices, already used in combat brigades and effective brigade support services, as widely as possible. Expanding the successful experience of the defense forces is a priority for commanders at all levels,” he said.
The meeting also discussed updates to the legal framework and methods of attracting international volunteers to Ukraine’s defense forces.
