„We are glad that we can now have this global event in Lithuania. This is actually the first time that a Vatican-organized global event is taking place in Lithuania,“ said the clergyman at the press conference held on Thursday.
According to G. Grušo, some of the arrivals will stay in hotels, while some pilgrims will be hosted by city residents in their homes. The event organizers encourage believers from Lithuania to stay with relatives living in Vilnius.
