“I would say yes, it should be done. A parliamentary investigation is one of the possible formats, and now there is more basis for it, because after so many years and with new information emerging, it would probably be easier to find the truth,” the MP told Žinių radijas on Friday.
According to her, it is an abnormal situation when, according to the decisions of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR), the state pays compensation to individuals accused in a CIA prison in Lithuania, while state leaders claim that no such prison existed in the country.

“It is a matter of honor to answer the questions. Otherwise, that story will not end, it will continue, and there may be even more fines in the future. And the statement by the highest politicians that we are paying for nothing, for a building, or that further investigation is not needed, does not dispel the shadow,” the liberal said.
