On Friday at noon, a man driving past one of the city’s apartment buildings saw a sight that stunned him – a small child was walking on the windowsill on the 3rd floor. The situation seemed extremely dangerous, so he immediately called the emergency services.

The General Emergency Center received the report at 11:32 a.m.
The man driving by informed that he saw a child about 3–4 years old walking on the windowsill on the 3rd floor of an apartment building on Respublikos Street.
Firefighters and medics were sent to the specified location. Upon arrival, the firefighters found that the apartment window was closed and the child was inside the room.
Upon entering the apartment, officers found two children born in 2021 and 2024, and their mother inside. After the incident, police officers and medics stayed to communicate with the woman and assess the circumstances of the situation.
