A Croatian judge ordered his pre-trial detention on Thursday. On Thursday, V. Zhuravlyov was interrogated by prosecutors who requested pre-trial detention until the extradition procedures are completed, reported the state television HRT.
German prosecutors claim that V. Zhuravlyov is a trained diver and accuse him of helping to place explosives on the Baltic Sea energy link between Russia and Germany, which destroyed three of the four pipelines in 2022.

The German publication “Legal Tribune Online” reported that he was arrested while working on the set of the US director Doug Liman’s film “Snake Island,” starring Adrien Brody and three-time Oscar winner Sean Penn.
