In Rovenky, Luhansk region, and Berdyansk, Zaporizhzhia region, Ukrainian defense forces destroyed Russian fuel and lubricant storage bases.

On August 22, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that defense forces at the Saky military airfield also destroyed a Su-24M bomber and four airfield equipment units.

The destruction of another such bomber at the Saky airfield was announced on July 16.

The Su-24 is a supersonic frontline bomber designed to carry out highly precise missile strikes and drop bombs on ground and surface targets.
