Fee introduced due to high aviation fuel prices
Lithuanian travel organizer “Tez Tour” informed travelers about the fuel fee on August 31. The fee was introduced for trips scheduled to depart from September 20, 2026, to November 9 inclusive.

As explained by the head of the travel organizer’s Public Relations and Marketing Department, Inga Aukštuolytė, this fee is introduced considering the persistently high aviation fuel prices in the market.

“We understand that price changes are not pleasant news for travelers, so we sincerely regret the situation. The entire outbound tourism market is forced to react to price jumps in the global oil market, which could not have been predicted when planning the travel season. We also had to make a difficult decision and revise the pricing of some already sold trips,” she told 15min.
