The waterproof foundation „Skinn Foundation Oil-Control Liquid Waterproof“ (number – MF1008, barcode – 6937118814837, batch 202406-14) was manufactured in July 2024 and is valid until July 2028.
It is dangerous to use this cosmetic product because the product’s ingredient list includes the prohibited substance Cyclotetrasiloxane (D4, CAS No. 556-67-2).

“A serious risk has been identified – a chemical hazard arises. Due to the chemical substance Cyclotetrasiloxane in its composition, the foundation can affect the reproductive system (harm fertility and the unborn child), long-term use can affect the endocrine system and cause harmful effects on aquatic life,” warns the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority.
The Western Lithuania Regional Department of the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority prohibited the company „Statlaiva“ from supplying this dangerous product to the market, obliged it to remove it from the market, recall it from consumers, destroy it in compliance with waste management regulations, warn consumers about the risks associated with the dangerous product, and provide information to the authority regarding the progress of further actions.
