In July, the total profit of PFIs amounted to 32.2 million euros.

The total assets of Latvian PFIs at the end of July amounted to 32.98 billion euros, which was 10.6%, or 3.155 billion euros, higher than a year earlier, when it was 29.824 billion euros.

The loan portfolio issued to PFI residents increased by 11.8% to 16.868 billion euros in the year up to the end of July, while the total deposits of residents in Latvian monetary financial institutions amounted to 21.994 billion euros at the end of July, which was 10.9% higher than a year earlier.

Latvian PFI capital and reserves grew by 2.6% to 3.515 billion euros over the twelve months to the end of July.

In 2025, Latvian PFI profit decreased by 34.5% to 341.7 million euros.

PFIs are credit institutions and other financial institutions that accept deposits from clients who are not monetary financial institutions, as well as provide loans from their own funds and invest in securities.
