The Ministry of Justice proposes increasing compensation for victims of violent crimes

This proposal has been submitted to the Government along with other initiatives to strengthen state support for victims of violent crimes.

According to the project, when a violent crime severely impairs a person’s health or causes harm to a minor, the maximum compensation would be increased from 80 base social benefits (BSI) (currently 5920 euros) to 110 BSI (8140 euros).
