Today the country’s weather will be influenced by a cyclone, and we will be in its southern part. The sky will mostly be variably cloudy, with plenty of clear spells, especially in the first half of the day. However, there will also be many cumulus clouds, from which short showers will pass in many regions, sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms. In the northern part of the country, rain will sometimes be intense, and small hail may fall in some places. A rather strong west to northwest wind will blow, with gusts reaching 15–18 m/s in some areas. The highest probability of dangerous gusts is expected on the coast and in the northeastern part of the country with more active clouds. The temperature today will already be lower – the air will warm up to 18–23 degrees Celsius.

On Wednesday night, the cyclone will quickly retreat. The sky will clear rapidly, and rain will fall briefly only in some places. No thunderstorms or other dangerous phenomena are expected anymore. The wind will calm down, blowing mostly from the west and northwest. The night is expected to be cool – the temperature will drop to 8–13 degrees. It should remain slightly warmer in the coastal region.
On Wednesday during the day, atmospheric pressure will continue to rise, and the anticyclone will strengthen. Brief rain will fall only in some parts of the country from a variably cloudy sky. The wind will not change direction and will remain moderate. The temperature should not change and will be around 19–23 degrees Celsius.
On Thursday night, the sky will clear even more, providing better conditions to observe the Perseid meteor shower. The chance of rain will decrease to a minimum. The wind will also calm down. However, it will not be warm – the temperature will drop to 7–12 degrees. It will again be slightly warmer in the narrow coastal strip due to the sea’s influence.

On Thursday during the day, the weather will be dominated by the anticyclone. The sky will have plenty of sunshine, with slightly more clouds only in the northeast. The chance of rain will be low. The northwest to west wind will be weak. The temperature will rise to 19–24 degrees Celsius.
On Friday, we will remain under the influence of a high-pressure system. There will be few clouds, and no rain is expected. The night will still be cool, with temperatures dropping to 8–13 degrees, 14–17 degrees on the coast, and during the day the temperature will again be higher, reaching 21–26 degrees.
