The Strategic Management Act provides for three types of state strategies – the State Progress Strategy, the National Security Strategy, and the Concept of the General Plan of the Territory of Lithuania. Separate health sector strategies approved by the Seimas are not among them.
The Government also notes that the Seimas is currently involved in determining the directions for the development of national health promotion activities – approving the State Progress Strategy, national agendas, and adopting laws.
