On Saturday afternoon, the actor was found dead at his home in the Bronx by his longtime friend Stephen Villano, who became worried after not hearing from Vincent for several days. The cause of death is currently unknown to his family, reports tmz.com

The New York Fire Department received a report about an unresponsive man on Saturday at around 2:30 PM local time. When rescuers arrived, V. Pastore was already dead.
Later, NYPD officers arrived at the scene by patrol car and began an investigation.
Before earning an acting degree at Pace University, Vincent served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He got his first film role in “Black Roses” when he was already over 40 years old.
Later, he became a regular face in mafia-themed films – playing roles in “Goodfellas,” “Carlito’s Way,” “Men of Respect,” and “Witness to the Mob.”

In 1999, Vincent got the famous role of “Big P****.” He appeared in 30 episodes over 7 seasons of the series as a trusted member of Tony Soprano’s crew who became an FBI informant.
Among other works by V. Pastore are roles in “Shark Tale,” “Spinning Gold,” “Once Upon a Time in Brooklyn,” and the series “Everybody Hates Chris” and “Yellowjackets.”
In recent years, Vincent became a frequent participant in reality shows. He appeared on “Celebrity Fit Club” and “Dancing with the Stars,” although he left the latter after just a week due to excessive physical strain.
The actor also competed on “Celebrity Apprentice” when it was still hosted by President Donald Trump. There, he memorably acted out a dispute with teammate Piers Morgan to convince opponents that he had switched sides and could spy on them – a move very reminiscent of his character in “The Sopranos.”
