Last week, the court dismissed the cadet’s appeal and upheld the decision of the Regional Administrative Court, which recognized the decision of the General Jonas Žemaitis Lithuanian Military Academy (LKA) to expel the cadet from the institution due to being intoxicated during service as lawful.

The case established that the cadet was observed intoxicated on the LKA premises during service. A sobriety test with a breathalyzer showed 1.72 per mille at the first measurement and 1.67 per mille at the second measurement.
