The data collected during the pre-trial investigation reasonably indicate that K. Rečkovas, while being a member of the Druskininkai Municipal Council, abused his office for personal financial gain, knowing that he was entitled to receive compensation for expenses related to his activities as a Council member and knowing that he was required to account for the use of such compensation.

From January 2019 to April 2023, he systematically forged genuine documents – Expense Reports, recording knowingly false data about expenses not related to his own, but to other persons unrelated to his activities as a Council member, including fuel expenses, as well as expenses for food products and other items.
