It is claimed that shortly after takeoff one of the plane’s tires may have exploded, but investigators or the airline have not yet confirmed this information.

The footage filmed at the scene shows passengers screaming in terror as the plane vibrates strongly. After a few seconds, part of the ceiling trim detached and fell, so some people had to cover their heads.
Other passengers tried to hold up the fallen structures while the screams in the cabin grew louder. Flight data shows that the Boeing 737-300 took off at 17:30 and returned to Mashhad and landed around 17:39.
“The Indian Express” reports that passengers safely disembarked from the aircraft and later flew from Mashhad in eastern Iran to Kermanshah in the west of the country on another plane.
There are no reports of injuries or casualties. It is reported that the Iranian civil aviation authorities have launched an investigation.
