69-year-old Daniel Siad, who was under investigation in France, is one of several Frenchmen accused of helping J. Epstein exploit and traffic women.

Investigators had not yet questioned D. Siad, but he denied the accusations, saying he wanted to be heard and present his version of events.
“An investigation was launched on Monday evening after the discovery (of the remains) to determine the cause of death,” the Nanterre prosecutor’s office stated.
An autopsy will be performed as part of the investigation.
Due to several complaints, including accusations of rape, the anti-human trafficking office was investigating D. Siad.
D. Siad’s name appears in more than 1,000 documents released after J. Epstein’s files were declassified.

He likened his efforts to recruit women to fishing.
“In this business, I feel like a fisherman: sometimes I catch quickly, sometimes there are no fish,” D. Siad wrote to J. Epstein in 2014.
D. Siad claimed that the convicted American sex offender “abused his trust”.
French officials arrested model agent Jean-Luc Brunel in 2020 on accusations that he supplied women to the US billionaire. He was found dead in prison in 2022.
J. Epstein died in prison in 2019 while awaiting trial for sex trafficking.
