Sunday – a silver day for Lithuanian rowing.
Initially, Ūla Jonušaitė and Ugnė Rudaitytė won silver medals at the European U23 Rowing Championships finishing in Poland.

The Lithuanian duo in the women’s coxless pair (BW2-) A final surged ahead from the first strokes and rowed first for 1400 meters. And although the Romanian pair Uilica-Maria Ursu and Andreea Petras, who shifted to a higher gear, overtook them and became champions, the silver medalists left no doubt – the third-place French pair Jeanne Seller and Louise Dinard lagged more than 5 seconds behind.
Saulė Kryževičiūtė and Gabija Stankevičiūtė also became European youth (U23) vice-champions.
The Lithuanian women’s double sculls (BW2x) A final settled among the leaders from the first strokes and confidently rowed the entire distance to finish second (7:38.93 min.).

The champions were the Czech women, and the bronze medals were won by the Estonians.
Domantas Jakubovskis, Geraldas Gavrilovas, Julius Krasauskas, and Domantas Janickas won the boys’ quadruple sculls (BM4x) B final (6:27.46) and placed seventh overall.
Arnas Andriušaitis and Augustas Davidonis finished third in the men’s coxless pair (BM2-) B final (7:31.06) and took ninth place in the final standings.
