The most successful in the championships were the world champions Martyna Kazlauskaitė and Dominykas Jančionis, who added another award to their trophy collection – this time silver medals.

The Lithuanian duo in the mixed double sculls (CMix2x) class recorded the third best time in the first qualifying stage and advanced directly to the knockout rounds.
In the “LAST 16” stage, Martyna and Dominykas confidently beat the Swiss, eliminated the Finns in the quarterfinals, outperformed the Spaniards in the semifinals, and in the A final had to acknowledge the superiority of the Germans.
In 2024, Martyna and Dominykas won gold at the Old Continent championships, and in 2025 they took bronze.
For the first time, Raminta Morkūnaitė reached the top four among the strongest Old Continent beach sprint rowers.
She started the women’s single sculls (CW1x) qualifiers confidently – recording the second-best time among all participants. Later, Raminta was faster than the Latvian in the knockout start, beat the Finn in the quarterfinals, lost to the Austrian athlete in the semifinals, and in the B final had to acknowledge the superiority of the British rower.

This is Raminta’s best result in this new Olympic event. Until now, she had never passed the quarterfinal barrier, and her highest place was fifth in 2025.
Žygimantas Gališanskis took 7th place in the championships. In the men’s single sculls (CM1x) qualifiers, he recorded the second-best time, and in the “LAST 16” stage faced an opponent from Italy – the fight for a place in the top eight was so intense that a photo finish was needed to declare the winner.
Afterwards, it was revealed that Žygimantas completed the course 0.04 seconds faster.
However, his path to the medal fight was blocked in the quarterfinals by the Finn Joelis Naukkarinen, who later won silver.
Debutants of the European beach sprint championship, young Justas Domarkas (CJM1x) and Marija Cibulskaitė (CJW1x), performed almost identically – both advanced to the knockout rounds after the second qualifying stage but lost their duels in the “LAST 16” stage.
Dominykas finished 10th overall, and Marija 11th.
Members of the coastal rowing team still have two starts this year – from October 18-21 in Qingdao (China), the adult crew will compete in the world beach sprint championship, and J. Domarkas will compete from October 31 to November 13 in the Youth Summer Olympic Games in Dakar (Senegal).
