As 15min stated, Inga Vegytė, senior specialist of the Communications Department of the Employment Service, said that the company “DIAB” announced the dismissal of the group employees on July 13.

According to I. Vegytė, contracts will be terminated with 75 out of all 76 employees.
The dismissals are scheduled from December 31, 2026, to March 31, 2027.
“21 machine operators, 11 machine operator-movers, 6 designers-estimators, and others will lose their jobs. The reason for dismissal is that the employee’s performed work function becomes redundant for the employer due to changes in work organization,” commented I. Vegytė.

“DIAB” indicates that it produces foam plastic materials for composite structures. The main application areas of the products are wind turbine blades, water transport vehicle hulls, aircraft, and road transport components.
