In May, the bank forecasted that GDP would grow by 3.2 percent.
Meanwhile, the bank did not change its GDP growth forecast for 2027 – it will slow down to 2.1 percent. In 2028, GDP is expected to grow again – up to 2.7 percent, according to SEB’s economic review “Nordic Outlook”.

It is forecasted that the average annual inflation this year will be 5.3 percent (May forecast – 5.7 percent), next year – 3.5 percent, and in 2028 – 3 percent.
According to SEB, unemployment will be 6.7 percent this year, 6.8 percent in 2027, and 6.7 percent in 2028. Meanwhile, wages will grow by 8.5 percent, 7 percent, and 6.5 percent respectively.

Household consumption will reach 4 percent this year, contract to 0.3 percent in 2027, and grow by 3 percent in 2028.
It is forecasted that the government sector deficit will be 2.3 percent this year, then 2.7 percent and 3 percent respectively.
