At the end of July, there were 39,860 registered unemployed people in the country. Last month, 7,234 new unemployed were registered, compared to 7,658 the previous month and 7,653 last July.

At the end of last month, the highest registered unemployment rate was in the East Viru County – 9.9%. The lowest unemployment rate – 2.7% – was registered in Hyju County.
