Back in 2024, P. Daunys came into the public eye when he tried to leave a store without paying for salmon.

In 2025, details emerged that Petras and Rasa were living in a rented apartment for which they had not paid.

At that time, the Vilnius City District Court issued a decision that was unpleasant for Rasa Barauskaitė and Petras Daunys. It was decided to satisfy the claim of real estate broker Vilma Kelmelė – the couple was evicted from the apartment they rented but did not pay for.

R. Barauskaitė and P. Daunys also had to repay the debt for the apartment rent and utility bills. In total, they have to return about 11 thousand euros to the broker.

Trying to hide assets

It is now clear that the story did not end – as reported by the portal alfa.lt, upon learning that bailiffs might come knocking at their door due to unpaid debts, the couple is trying to hide their assets.

It turns out that the well-known businesswoman, not wanting her luxury car to fall under the bailiffs’ scrutiny, at the end of 2025, just before Christmas, gifted her “Range Rover Evoque,” valued at 20 thousand euros, to her father.

However, the real estate broker had already won one case regarding this car gift agreement. She again went to court seeking to recognize that Rasa Barauskaitė gifted the car to her father to avoid trouble if the bailiffs targeted it.

Some time ago, the Vilnius City District Court ruled that such a “gift” was unfair since the businesswoman gave the car to her father after the court decision regarding the debt had become final. It was recognized that this violated the creditor’s interests.

The portal alfa.lt reports that P. Daunys also risks losing his car – several bailiffs are already targeting his “Mercedes-Benz E 200.” The car’s usage rights have already been restricted, and the vehicle is deregistered, making its participation in traffic prohibited.

It is reported that the singer himself is trying to protect this car from bailiffs – at the beginning of 2024, the Vilnius City Municipality administration fined P. Daunys for keeping a non-operational / unfit-for-operation vehicle.

The artist himself filed a lawsuit after about half a year, claiming that his car was stolen and deregistered.
