V. Putin also announced that the Russian armed forces have been ordered to prepare and carry out massive attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
„They strike our facilities – they will get a response,“ he threatened.
Earlier, Ukrainian President V. Zelensky stated that Ukraine is beginning to close the airspace over Russia. According to him, Russian airspace is becoming dangerous for civil aviation due to the massive use of drones.
The president emphasized that Kyiv does not threaten civil aviation, but only warns international airlines and insurers that these risks must be taken into account.
We remind that the media previously reported that at the beginning of the year Ukrainian officials allegedly proposed to V. Zelensky to carry out drone attacks on Moscow airports, but this plan was stopped. It envisaged launching up to 1,000 drones daily at Moscow airports and their surroundings – inexpensive autonomous drones were supposed to independently detect and attack targets without operator intervention.
