As the psychologist notes, there is more than one reason. A generation of young men is growing up who tend to commit much less, do not even want serious relationships (at some stage they might not even realize it themselves), because they require responsibility, patience, sacrifice, adaptation – qualities that not everyone really has. “True, earlier such men still committed because societal pressure and the formed perception of adult life were different – it was almost mandatory. So now in relationships, they can just try, observe, explore the situation. They seem interested, but only up to a certain, very safe limit,” the psychologist believes.
