“Winter is approaching and we need to prepare properly for it. (…) As a country, we plan to deliver transformers from the closing (Ignalina – BNS) nuclear power plant to Ukraine, which weigh neither little nor much – 600 tons, we are preparing how we could deliver them as quickly as possible,” the prime minister said in a video comment released from Ukraine on Monday.
Among other things, after Russia struck a train near the Ukraine-Poland border heading to Warsaw, M. Sinkevičius said he promised Kyiv to provide assistance with locomotives.
