„There are various discussions in the public space that I would very much like not to be – both for the sake of ensuring security itself and how we appear in the international arena. But I have said more than once and my opinion has not changed: I trust the Minister of Foreign Affairs Kęstutis Budrys and I think he is doing well,“ said the Prime Minister on Thursday during the Government hour in the Seimas.
The minister has faced criticism from the chairman of the ruling “Nemuno Aušra” Remigijus Žemaitaitis and some individual social democrats for what they claim is improperly conducted foreign policy.
