The price of Samsung Galaxy Flip8 256 GB is 1309 EUR, and 512 GB – 1509 EUR. This model is available in grey, pink, or cream colors.
Updated Folding Mechanism
One of the most important innovations in this year’s devices is the “FlexTitanium” technology, which allowed for a thinner body while increasing its durability and reducing the visibility of the screen’s crease. Compared to previous polymer materials, the titanium layer is significantly stiffer, making the screen appear smoother when unfolded and should better withstand long-term folding.
“This technology is considered one of the most important Fold8 updates, as it directly addresses two main problems of foldable phones: the visible crease and durability,” notes G. Mikailienė.
Increased Focus on AI
However, in this year’s foldable series, perhaps the greatest attention is paid to AI, which indicates its growing importance in our daily lives. Devices evolve more through AI integration, performance growth, and structural improvements, rather than design changes.
This year, an improved “Galaxy AI” system is integrated into all three models, which helps to perform daily tasks faster. The phone can recognize what is displayed on the screen and suggest useful actions. For example, if you are chatting about a meeting, AI can suggest adding it to your calendar immediately, and provides the most important daily information in one place.
The integrated “Gemini” AI in smartphones allows for more complex tasks across multiple applications simultaneously, such as planning a trip or reserving a restaurant. It can also collect and briefly summarize information from your notes, photos, and other data on your phone.
