The 208 cm tall American, who will celebrate his 35th birthday this week, still had a one-year contract with the Japanese club Tokyo “Alvark”, which Dainius Adomaitis coached for the past four seasons.

However, the contract was terminated by mutual agreement, and Brandon Davies announced the end of his career.
“This is a very unexpected announcement, but after long consideration, I have decided to end my professional basketball career. I want to thank everyone in the “Alvark” organization for the time we spent together – coaches, staff, fans. I will always cherish the memories we created here together. Thank you very much,” B. Davies is quoted on the “Alvark” website.

B. Davies represented the Kaunas “Žalgiris” team in the period 2017-2019.
In his first season, he reached the EuroLeague Final Four, in the second – the quarterfinals, and was selected to the tournament’s first symbolic team.

B. Davies won the LKL title twice, and in 2018 he was recognized as the LKL Finals MVP.
Later, the center’s career meandered through “Barcelona”, Milan “Olimpia”, “Valencia”, Belgrade “Partizan” and “Alvark” organizations.
Over a decade in Europe, he became the champion of Spain (2021), Italy (2023) and the Adriatic League (2025).
